Larry Coyne is the CEO of Coyne Airways and its parent Coyne Aviation. He was born in Ireland and spent much of his working life in UK. He has also worked both in Europe and USA. He studied accountancy before obtaining an MBA at the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. On graduation, he worked for the international management consultants McKinsey & Company on assignments in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Ireland and Monaco. On leaving McKinsey, he became one of the shareholders and Finance Director of a small UK quoted conglomerate. He ran his own consultancy business for five years helping such prestigious clients as the Financial Times to set up its first remote printing operation in Frankfurt. Larry was elected President of The International Air Cargo Association - TIACA for a term of 2 years in January 2001. He Chaired the Security Committee and was Chairman of the President`s Council (which is responsible for inducting members to the Air Cargo Hall of Fame) from 2003 to 2005. He has campaigned actively for the liberalization of cargo traffic rights and for the removal of obstacles to the growth of the air cargo industry. He is a regular presenter and attendee at the World Customs Organization, International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and the World Bank`s Global Facilitation Partnership.
Julian is a Chartered Accountant and is a graduate of Leeds University. He has extensive experience in the transport sector, working for 8 years as Financial Controller of the UK office of a major shipping/logistics group and then as Finance Director of an environmental consultancy who advised mainly on the rail industry. He joined Coyne Airways in November 2006.
Jon is a languages graduate from Newcastle University. Since 1992 he has spent much time in Russia and visiting various other parts of the former Soviet Union. Joining Coyne Airways in 1996 and having been involved in the development of the Caspian freighter services, Jon has a great deal of experience of the company, our customers and the Caspian market. He travels regularly to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, in order to meet customers and suppliers and to keep abreast of local methods of operation. Jon has been involved in establishing many new routes for Coyne, including our successful freighter service from Dubai to Iraq which began in 2004 and which has since gone from strength to strength, expanding to include Afghanistan. Jon is now in charge of our Caspian operation, overseeing the next phase of its development.
Tatyana is a graduate of the St Petersburg Financial Institute and has previously been a lecturer of book keeping. She joined Coyne Airways in 1997 and is responsible for Financial Accounting, dealing with reconciling airlines, airports, handling and trucking agents accounts.
Bahar studied engineering and economics at The Turkmen Polytechnic Institute and has also completed a course in finance and accountant management, gaining an ICCAA. Before joining Coyne Airways in May 2004 Bahar worked as the chief accountant for Fujeta International company and between 1995 to 2002 she worked for the Ministry of energy and industry in Turkmenistan as an assistant to the chief accountant.
John joined Coyne Airways in December 2006 having graduated from Loughborough University with a PhD in Air Commerce. He works in a business development role for the company and manages Coyne’s various interline partnerships. John has worked in the academic sector, writing many papers on air cargo issues on behalf of bodies such as the Sustainable Development Commission and the International Air Cargo Association and also provided consultancy services to a variety of transport companies.
Martyn joins Coyne Airways with a remit to promote and develop it's products in the UK and Ireland. Prior to joining Coyne Airways Martyn has gained twenty five years experience in the air cargo industry, the last seventeen as General Sales Manager with one of the UK's leading GSSA's selling on behalf of numerous carriers. Prior to this he gained experience in freight forwarding and wholesaling.
Chaya joined Coyne Airways in April 2006 having previously worked for Air Mauritius and now is working as our route development manager. Chaya Dabeedin was born in Mauritius and has studied both English and French languages.
Marisa has a diploma in Travel and Tourism at the age of 21 she brought American Apparel to the UK market and worked as the Wholesale Operations Manager for 7 years she was in charge of Sales Projects and New Business development and gained experience and training internationally.
